OGNYANOVO K AD is a beneficiary under a grant agreement BG16RFOP002-3.001-0469-C01 and implements an Energy Efficiency for a Better Competitiveness project. The project is financed under the 2014-2020 Innovation and Competitiveness Operative Program under BG16RFOP002-3.001 Energy Efficiency for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises procedure, with funds provided by the European Regional Development Fund and the National Budget.

The overall objective of the project is to increase the competitiveness of OGNYANOVO K AD by implementing measures to reduce energy consumption, increase the capacity and productivity of the enterprise.

As a result OGNYANOVO K AD will be able to start implementing a more ecologically focused productional policy using environment friendly energy-efficient technologies. The introduction of an energy management system, in accordance with the requirements of the internationally recognized standard BDS EN ISO 50001, will enable the company to optimize the use of energy, which will also reduce the energy consumption. Last but not least, as a result of the successful implementation of the project activities, the company will significantly increase its production capacity and products quality, which will allow attracting new customers and expanding the business.

The total eligible costs of the project amount to BGN 3 368 842.64, of which BGN 1 272 255.15 European and BGN 224 515.61 national co-financing.

The deadline for the implementation of the project activities is 30.11.2018.
