Fraction 0–32 mm

The aggregates for unbound and hydraulically bound mixtures for use in construction equipment and road construction, produced at the quarries of Ognyanovo K JSC meet the Standard BDS EN 13242 + A1: 2007, supplemented by the National Annex BDS EN 13242:2002+А1:2007/NA.

The aggregates are produced from crushed stones, C90/3 category, fraction sizes: 0 – 4 mm, 0 – 20 mm, 0 – 40 mm, 0 – 50 mm, 0 – 63 mm, 0 – 75 mm, 4 – 11,2 mm, 11,2 – 22,4 mm, 16 – 31,5 mm as well as fraction 0 – 25 mm, GA85 category.

Ognyanovo K JSC has introduced a system for assessment and control of the operational parameters constancy of the manufactured aggregates 2+ (two plus) by a notified body – the Scientific and Research Institute of Building Materials Ltd.
Ognyanovo K aggregate materials are also produced in other standard and non-standard fraction sizes – on request of the client.

Ognyanovo K Flue Gas Desulphurization Materials ( FGD) are crushed and ground limestones, which are used for the neutralization of injurious acid components from the fumes and waste gases, as well as such contained in water solutions.
For this purpose the limestone is crushed to sizes required by the method selected by our clients. Such material of ours is used for the neutralization of the sulphur and nitrogen oxides in the flue gases of the thermal power plants, using coal as an operation fuel. They work under the limestone oxidising suspension method, and calcium sulphate dihydrate is turned out as a finished product out of which different gypsum binders are obtained.

The potential of neutralization of waste acidic water solutions in the production of sulphuric acid and in hydro-metallurgy and ore dressing is being studied. Parallel to the separated carbon dioxide, sediments of gypsum and metallic calcium compounds are also being obtained.

Fillers for dry mixes. Dry mixes used in construction are mixtures of mineral binders and fine aggregates (fillers). Fillers are finely ground materials – mineral flours that control the viscosity and make the final product cheaper.

Ognyanovo K crushed limestones are suitable for the production of fillers for dry mixes. They are produced in different fractions according to client requirements.

Limestones from the quarries of Ognyanovo K JSC are also used in the manufacture of additives for fodder mixtures and in the glass industry.
